Standard leg bags require the wearer to wear long pants to conceal the collected urine. The Stand Tall is concealed on the upper thigh, under normal daily wear clothing. This system can even be worn discreetly with summer shorts – a real advantage during the warm season. Standard leg bags also require the privacy of a bathroom stall in order to empty them. Depending on the flexibility of the wearer, many men also need to partially undress to empty their leg bag.
 
The Stand Tall is much easier to empty. The wearer stands at the urinal, and after unzipping his zipper, simply brings out the urinary drainage tube, opens the activation valve, and presses against the bag. In less than 40 seconds, a full bag will be completely emptied, and the user can place the urinary drainage tube back into the pouch. It’s that easy.

The Stand Tall’s location adjacent to the Foley Cather, rather than at the ankle level with standard leg bags, greatly reduces the number and the severity of painful tugs on the drainage tube that are transmitted back to the Foley catheter, and the patient’s anatomy.
